This course is suited to both beginner and intermediate photographers wanting to explore more of their DSLR cameras features and capabilities.
Using the superb Dorrigo Rainforest centre as a base you are invited to join award winning photographers Gethin Coles and Alex Cowley on a walk through some of the Mid North Coasts most spectacular rainforest. Strangler Figs, towering Tallowwood's and the majestic buttress rooted Yellow Carabeen trees are just some of the subjects we will encounter. There is also the chance of spotting stunning Lyrebirds and Bowerbirds and King Parrots to name but a few. We will also visit Crystal Showers Falls, a waterfall that you can actually walk behind!
There is plenty of scope in the easy walk for some stunning photography, from close ups to big scenes there is something for everyone. Enjoy a coffee and cake or even lunch (highly recommended) at the Canopy cafe before paying a visit to the mighty Dangar Falls one of regions many impressive waterfalls. From here a short hop to some simply jaw dropping views over the ranges rounds out a full day of wonderful photographic opportunities.
Dangar Falls
We'll get to dangar depending on how we go for time.
There are great shots to be had at the top of the falls, for the adventurous there is a steep climb down to the bottom.
